The fully-robotic positioning system and pin-point precision of the linear accelerator allows our oncologists to focus the most effective dose of radiation to the targeted area to destroy the cancer cells. This results in shorter treatment duration for patient with improved accuracy while sparing more of the surrounding tissues and cells.
The Elekta Synergy is also able to deliver Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRT) In addition, treatment planning is further enhanced via a dedicated CT Simulator, which is located within the Radiotherapy Unit itself, making the entire patient experience more pleasant.
