Allied Care Team

At Pantai Cancer Institute, our Allied Care Team works with patients at different stages, from the first clinic visit to diagnosis and throughout treatment. They are with patients to ensure continuity of care, as well as foster strong ties between the staff, patient and family.

Our nursing staff provides the backbone for daily patient care in PCI. Patient will be assigned with a team of practice, allied nursing staff and oncology trained nurse to care for patients throughout treatment. The allied nursing staff will ensure your treatment schedules, follow-ups and examinations are scheduled appropriately. Our oncology nurse, who have received extensive oncology training as a certified oncology nurse, they provide advice and support to patients through the journey towards recovery.

Our trained radiographer (therapy) will attend to you during your radiation treatment. They will arrange your treatment schedule and also provide education on side effect and how to take care of your treatment area.

Medical physicist will be available to explain your treatment process. They are the one who perform treatment planning for your radiation treatment so that the tumor received radiation dose and at the same time spare the normal/healthy tissues.
